What is SocialBoom?
SocialBoom is an AI-powered app that helps content creators write and optimize social media captions, analyze how captions look on feeds (e.g. hook visibility, “See more” cutoff), and generate hashtags and color palettes for posts. It supports Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
How do I generate captions?
On the Create tab, upload a photo (required), choose your style (e.g. Instagram or TikTok), and tap “Analyze & Generate.” The app will suggest a hook, story, CTA, and hashtags. You can then copy or edit the result and use Visual Analysis or ASO & Tags for more optimization.
What is Visual Analysis?
Visual Analysis shows how your caption appears in a feed preview (e.g. 9:16 for TikTok, 4:5 for Instagram). It reports hook visibility and where the “See more” cutoff falls, plus tips on layout, structure, and readability so you can improve engagement.
What are ASO & Tags?
The ASO & Tags section lets you enter a topic (and optionally an image) to get smart hashtag suggestions and a mood-based color palette. Colors can be derived from your image or suggested from your topic. You can copy all tags or individual colors for use in your posts.
How do support / sponsorship purchases work?
In Settings you can open “Support SocialBoom” and choose a one-time sponsorship amount. Purchases are processed by Apple (In-App Purchase). They are one-time only and not recurring. Refund requests are handled according to Apple’s policy; we can help direct you if needed.
Is my data private?
Yes. We use your content only to provide the service (e.g. generating captions or analyzing layout). We do not sell your data. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
